New AGGRESSIVE GM

Created by: RC333
Team: 2017-18 Vancouver Canucks
Initial Creation Date: Oct. 17, 2017
Published: Oct. 17, 2017
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
I'm personally sick of watching Canucks try to be competitive. its time to aggressively rebuild because no one wants to see a decade of mediocrity!

Id make the obvious trades, and try to accumulate as many draft picks as possible as this next draft should be ridiculously talented.

- sedins trade is sad but its something that must happen

- edler trade needs to happen bcuz hes worth a 2nd and teams need defencemen like the caps

- pittsburgh needs a third line center and one that can play on the PK

- gagner needs to go, hes still serviceable but not on a rebuilding team

- rangers were interested in vanek, they look like they need some more help

- Edmonton needs an experienced guy whos cheap to come in for the injured sekera

- Tanev deal is comparable to Hamonics return, and it helps both the leafs and canucks as leafs need someone to play with rielly and shore up their back end for the cup run. canucks need picks to rebuild.

with this lineup canucks will most certainly be last ill project their top 3 rounds of draft picks...

1) rasmus Dahlin LHD
31) Calen Addison RHD
32) Xavier Bouchard RHD
47) dominik Bokk RW
62) Johnny Gruden LW
82) Toni Utanen LHD
87) Samuel Bitten C
90) Rasmus Sandin LHD

i encourage you all do google them and educate yourselves

Obviously not perfect but you do try to help both teams in the trades. Pretty fair value in all trades. I agree that Tanev is our largest trading chip

I can't see most of these trades happening. You've traded players with multi year contracts without taking money back. Elder and his 5m, Sbisca 3m Gagner over 3m.

People keep saying the Sedins need to be traded for the rebuild, but no one mentions that 1) you need to find someone who can/will take them and 2) They need to waive NTC, which they have already said they will not do.
