I think the value is good for the Pittsburgh deal but Sutter's salary is still about $500,000 more than the Pen's could fit under the cap

Awful offer for Colorado. Doesn't come close to what the Avs want or need. A 31 yr old D, nope. A 3rd round LD prospect, nope. An under achieving first round pick forward who may be a bust, nope. A 3rd round pick, nope.

TJTwolf from a guy with some real knowledge this trade is way too much for Colorado. So I will retract the trade for Shibbal. Should basically be edler plus 2nd for Duchene max. I would never trade Virtanen and never Brisebois especially for a guy who put up the same numbers as Baertschi :laug and Baertschi only cost a 2nd rounder.
