Description

Hall is only in NJ for 3 more years, so they need to be competitive by that 3rd year.

Trade Henrique and anyone else you can for draft picks. Bring in cap-dumps for additional picks, only 1 or 2 year contracts. Sign UFAs after the cap-dunps expire, and hope that the team drafts well and some young guys can contribute before the 3rd year while Hall is still in NJ.

Are you forgetting about Nico Hischier just put Johansson on wing and Hischier at center instead.

Ya, that's a good plan. I wasn't too worried about setting the lines. I can't say for sure if Hischier is NHL ready or not.

I was more interested in the long term plan. Even the trades can be adjusted here and there, or find a different trade partner. But the goal was a plan that can get NJ the needed changes in 2 years. I think this plan works.
