A few things:
1) I don't think Coleman makes the starting lineup over McLeod
2) Can't see Lappin making it over Jimmy Hayes (PTO) or Blake Speers
3) Butcher and Kapla are both waiver exempt, and Prout simply sucks. There is no way all 3 are on the opening day roster over Mueller, who is not waiver exempt and cost the Devils a 2nd round pick this summer
4) Most importantly, there is no way Severson takes that contract. Look at all the other Devils posts and you will consistently see contracts between 4 and 6 years and an aav between 4 and 4.5 mill. The only way he takes $925K is if it is a one year, bonus-laden contract
5) Lovejoy will not be getting 1st pairing time over Severson. It just makes no sense for the Devils to do that

You put Ryan Clowe on the team roster while he's been on the LTIR for years, Severson is not a 2nd line guy and Mueller will most likely be the sixth or seventh man
