Description

Sabres need to create a winning and a positive atmosphere in their locker room if the club and it's fans will ever see the light of day again.
Reasons:
KANE- not a team player, has a negative influence on the locker room, sending him to a team that has lost a few scorers is good for both clubs. Watson is a great player and the Preds get a good deal for Kane.

EICHEL- also not a team player, kind of thinks he owns the franchise. I love Jack, but for a good player like Alex and some solid picks, I could see him off.

MOULSON- every Sabres fan knows Moulson is a thorn in the side of the organization. We lost Vanek for a guy who became a 4th liner... Shipping him off to FLA and holding some cap for a 5th is a generous deal for the Panthers.

GORGES- Leafs need solid D, no better way then a veteran. Gorges for 900k is cheap and he would only play for 1 year. I would be happy with a 6th pick.

Three cap dumps. No one wants Moulsen. Leafs don't want/need Gorges. If Kane is as bad as you say, why would any team want him? Nice to know you have been in the locker room and know all about Kane's negative influence. Can you get my ROR's autograph for me when you in the room?

It makes perfect sense.
CBJ is a prime example of what Skyraider112 is talking about.
How about Boone Jenner, Brandon Dubinsky & 1st rounder for Eichel. It would be fun to watch him under Torts.
Nash was good, but not completely bought in. They lacked talent, but Nash did get lazy, especially in the D zone.
Johansson had the same attitude, like he was the star.
Now, the entire team is bought in and there are no mavericks. It took Torts 2 years to clean it up.
It can be done, but moves like above need to happen.
