There is a 0% chance that Leivo beats out Komarov for a spot in the top 4 lines. Leivo would be really bad on a shutdown line too.
Kapp is going to start the season on the Marlies, can't see Martin not on that 4th line.
Also don't know if that 3rd pairing will happen. That is a very green pairing.

Kasperi will probably be in the minors because he doesn't need to clear waivers Leivo won't be in the lineup over Martin or Komarov and if they signed another D he would play over either in that third pair

I don't think a lot of people realize how important Uncle Leo is to the Leafs. For example, an advanced metric that measures a player's Goals Above Replacement value, ranks Kadri and Leo 3rd and 4th on the Leafs. Leo is there because he is a good shutdown defensive player. He is a UFA July 1st so a trade could happen, but I would never put him as a reserve.

The rest of the lineup looks reasonable to me, although Leafs normally carry 13F/8D (Marincin). I agree about Kapanen in/Martin out but since they protected Martin in expansion draft, looks like Babs wants him in.
