My heart was aflutter when I saw the name "Phanuef" on your trade. But when I took at Orpik's age and contract.....I can't believe I'm saying this....I like Phanuef better. Actually he has played OK this year.
Stephenson looks like a career AHLer and Kapanen, the big send back to the Leafs in the Kessell trade.....I'm not sure if he is going to adapt to North American hockey. Seems like a perimeter player.
Johanssen for JVR and a low round first, and two seconds. Think JVR is definitely better than Johassen....are the picks worth the difference. Is Kapaneen an NHLer? Good trade...seems subjective but fair. Don't know what I would do as GM, but the proposition both ways is.....intriguing. Nice work.
