As Hawks fans we have watched an endless stream of ridiculous CC dump proposals come across this site with the expectation being the Hawks would trade valuable assets for an overpaid third pairing d-man who gets exposed on an almost daily basis… just flipping the script. It has been stated too many times, if the Oilers want to move CC they will have to pay the other team to take him, maybe a 3rd round pick but more likely a 2nd.
