Thank you for asking please but the answer is still no. Even if the proposal was realistic, it wouldn’t happen. He is the shiny new toy , well to Davidson at least

Not ancient history. Very recent history. These right wing conspiracy theorist nut bags are not good people. So, if he is one of those, I wouldn't want it on my team or near my impressionable developing young players, and from what I understand, he is one of those people. Brodie has a long career of VERY good defensive play, and one or two seasons of some poor play. Regardless of whether he can still execute, he brings experience, knowledge, and leadership. I'd rather have that experience than a dip $hit who is pretty good at hockey filling young players minds with conspiracy theory bull$hit.

Also, there is nothing wrong with this trade. Copp with $2M retained is not a bad center to have around for a few years. Add in the 2nd round pick, and I'm good with it. Especially considering we have too many wings and not enough centers on the NHL roster, currently. And he has one less year than Bertuzzi.

Well count me as one of those who is excited to see Bert playing on Bedsy's wing and will be cheering for him from sec 316 in the UC.

Well, the key word is "IF" (in IF he is one of those). I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for now. Especially if the on ice product is good. Because in all fairness, I only have hearsay and incomplete information to go on, and I don't know him personally. But at the first sign of red flag conspiracy theory garbage, I'm gonna be calling for his head. Also, I'll have to settle for cheering from New Hampshire in front of my TV, for now.
