Description

Not sure what's coming back from Detroit for Trouba when that officially happens, probably not much. Also CapFriendly does not have Zac Jones anywhere but he would replace Trouba.

I think this is pretty realistic, it doesn't take much to get this done. And even maybe Tarasenko gets $5 million coming off the Cup, granted he wasn't that fantastic during the run.

This gives the Rangers cap flexibility during the season to make trades as well.

If they can dump Trouba they'll add 1-2 cheaper options on 1yr deals and bank cap for the deadline. No need for another RW at $4-5MM a season and no room to maneuver at the deadline.

Maata for Trouba with 2.5 mil retained. Gives them another body on the blue line and he is on a one year deal.
