With the signings of Perron and Amadio, there's no money left for Pinto.
Adding Pinto as a sweetener to Norris for Jones trade while unloading Hamonic gets us our coveted first pair RHD.

No one is signing Michael McLeod unless there is a prison rec league where they allow skates, which seems unlikely

Completely agree! I did a quick UFA search for a cheap center and no wonder he came up :/ I'll change it for lesser option...

You could take Jones out of that proposal and CHI would still decline. Norris is a HUGE risk, and both him and Hamonic would need to be paid for in order for CHI to take them. Pinto is not enough to pay for that. It is also worth noting that CHI is no longer in a position to take on cap dumps.

Right? It's crazy how quickly things can change. But CHI isn't taking on Norris' contract. That would be a mistake.
