Pinto wants out and Utah HC can still use some help at center. In this case, the two teams swap young centers, Ottawa taking on the guy who didn't play much last season and had just 10 points in 33 games, but was drafted as "the kind of player you win with". They bank on him being more like the 43 point guy he was the year before.

I think there might have to be a minor addition from the HC but I think it makes sense if they do want to honor that trade request

3. even if he wasn't a UFA, that's an insanely stupid trade. PInto worth INFINITELY more than Hayton

2. capfriendly still lists Hayton as an RFA of the Utah HC.

3. Of course you would think it's "insanely stupid", you're a Sens fan, you're bound to like Pinto more than just about anybody out there. Like Devils fans who insisted Holtz was essentially untouchable before he and Akira Schmid were traded for a perpetual bottom six player and a 3rd round pick.

so you read a bunch of fake rumours on twitter by people with no inside info, yet ignore all the reports that say Hayton wasn't qualified? good call

Yeah, fake rumors by useless losers like Pierre LeBrun, that talentless hack. Then there's Bruce Garrio........ well maybe HE is a hack.

I don't run around looking for "reports" about Barrett Hayton's contract status, I simply look on this website, where even last night it STILL showed him as an RFA with Utah. This website updates things virtually as they happen.

Can you show me which "reports" "out there" suggest anyone is "desperate" to get "Pinto"?

F-ing keyboard warrior mentality you have, like so many others on these forums.
