You can keep him. They aren’t trading a guy they just drafted away 2 days later lol

1 forward away from a realistic roster. Cowan most likely won't stay all year. As well, we are going to carry 3 goaltenders all year, that needs to fit in the cap. Toronto needs to make a move, Robertson+ Jarnkrok/Reaves/Kampf to make their Cap work

I think a trade for Robertson brings back a bottom 6 forward and a Draft pick.

No one wants Murray (at 100K more than minimum), so no need to carry 3 goalie on the Salary Cap.

Robertson for a probable high in the round 3rd is probably about right.

Still not sold on those two guys in net though, neither is a 30 game man, ever.

And not convinced you're going to get much offense from bottom 6 even with tavares there

My 3rd line should create 50-60 goals and the 4th line 25-30 goals. I guess the most important question is how many goals against on ice those 2 lines give up.

Dont know I just dont see Robertson as having that value for a player and a pick.

And Tavares driving that line or playmaking for that line and mcmann and holmberg are more shooters than anything (mcmann has 15 goals thanks to the top 3 but just 7 assists for example). Tavares will get his 20+ goals, but i just dont see that line working. But i like the 4th line, maybe drop jarnkrot or kampf and get roslovic there with mcmann and cowan and tavares to 2LW?

Damn seeing Raddysh sign for just $1 million for the Caps, he would have fit nicely on the Leafs bottom 6. I guess the RW is too full on the Leafs.

We can't afford Roslovic, would love to have him but NYR won't take any of our players, not even Robertson.
Leafs don't have cap space to play with and are not willing ti give up their top 3 round of draft picks. Only a hockey trade can solve this or it is waiting a year for Tavares contract to come off the books to address the depth issues up front. D-core got tackled now altough they still need 1 more legit guy bc Tanev and OEL can get injured tomorrow by dropping off their kid at the schoolbus

Roslovic is probably a 3.5-4mil free agent, NYR has nothing to do with it. Move Jarnkrot and Kampf for whatever you can get, robertson is an arbitration ineligible RFA and a cheap resign or you call up steeves or minten and you roll with a bottom 7 forwards of cowan-roslovic-mcmann, holmberg-minten-dewar/reaves
