Tanev is rumoured to get a massive 5-7 year deal. 3 x 7 is equivalent to 5.25 x 4, and at 35 he will likely value term. For Stamkos, he's rumoured to get 4-5 million but some team likely outbids that. Maybe he takes a hometown discount? Unlikely but who knows.
