Description
I kind of of don't mind it jeff skinner is a 50-to-60-point guy on the right team and to get him for 3 years at 4.5 isn't a bad deal Aswell as to gain some draft capital that also works. Hold on to guys like kacko that are very useful on the third line and could still devolpe. Sign Tanev to a one-year deal so that we can have the cap space to sign the extensions that we need to sign.

Why would they trade for Skinner when they can probably get him for a pretty good caphit in FA

Winnipeg declines as a late first, prospect and space part is not enticing.

Schneider does not sign that contract.

Why would Buffalo pay a 2nd and hold that much. 4.5M skinner would at least be a net neutral asset.

He can sign a say 2 year $2.5M AAV deal and when he is 24 with the cap going up and if his career projectory holds up, sign for 8 years $7M+ then.
