Even with the retention, that's an easy decline for Chicago.

Also, there isn't a single GM (unless they're trying to get fired) that is going to give up a 2nd for Fabbri.

Yzerman seems to like overpaying to move cap hits so why not?

fair point. Anything to make sure Perron gets a league max contract.

Canes aren’t giving up a second for fabbri. Don’t think they’d give anything up for him but maybe a team gives him a late pick for him.

If Walman cost a 2nd to dump, then Holl certainly does as well. The retention is worth a 4th, so make the pick w/ Holl Detroit's '25 2nd and the Hawks probably accept.

$hit... If Walman cost a 2nd to dump, then Holl costs DET's 15th overall pick.

I'm not sure KD can make a deal w/o trading away a 4th. Ha. That Walman deal was a complete head scratcher to me. There has to be some sort of off ice issue with him. He's a pretty solid player.

That, or maybe it was a precursor to another deal to happen tomorrow or after free agency opens or something like that. There could be other agreed upon things that aren't included in the official trade call.
