I think the Avs decline that as they won't want to make a hole at 3C. McGroarty could make sense as a cheap young wing with talent but with Stanley to re-sign and then the 3C hole to fill I don't see it working cap-wise. I do believe there IS a potential possibility of something being worked out between the two though and the Avs should at least be getting in on the conversation.

NSH passes. Ehlers is good, but that is too much for NSH to give up. L'Heuruex and Evangelista are likely going to be pieces of NSH's future core. NSH's true next window isn't for another 3-4 years and from what we know they are both expected to be apart of that.

Ehlers helps the team win now and could be apart of that core for the future, so maybe NSH would move one of them, but I can't see a world where both of them get moved. NSH may have been connected to Ehlers, but I don't know how much sense he makes for the team based on where they are.

How did you get the $3,065,333 number for Perfetti? That seems like and oddly precise figure.

WPG fans need to come down to reality.
They aren't going to trade him in conference let alone in division.
That's a non starter. COL isn't even on the list of teams they would talk to.
It be like PHL talking to the penguins on Gauthier, no chance don't even waste your time.

As for the PIT trade, the penguins don't need any more bottom 6 forwards. Declined.

That isn't true at all.

Eller and Acciari are both solid 3rd and 4th line centers. They need space to play Poulin to give him his chance already. So that's 4 right there. You add in Bemström who is a decent player and you got 5.
They will go league minimum on the 6th guy and that's just fine.

That's all under the expectation that they don't sign a 1LW.... which would put either Smith or Rakell down to the 3rd line.
So don't come to me with your BS about how he plays for WPG he must be better than everyone else on your team homerism bs.

If he was so grand, at 2 mil per you would be keeping him instead of trading him for a 5th round pick.
