I would like this trade if you added one of Meyers or Sanheim in it

I'd be tickled pink with this the way it is! Not sure if Mangi is ready to be deployed and don't want to rush his development like we did with Byron (and loose him)... But if he is ready that's the line I would deploy him on to start!

Only item of note is that almost all JH trades involve PHI or NJD - I get this is where JH would like (one day) to end up but its not up to him... While its true that both these clubs would be silly not to trade for JH due to his popularity with there fan base JH has a lot of fans all over the NHL - plus he has star power - imagine him in Vegas or LA, maybe even NY (ILS or RNGs)... Then there are the rebuilding teams - again VGS but add in Phoenix and the AVS... A lot of options... JH is not just a skilled player (although weak) but he is also a star that will sell tickets - entertain the fans - and sell merchandise! So why trade him - well 1st Calgary has a couple young small players coming up - that are not weak - like Mangi - 2nd our arena (in CND) sells out virtually every home game! And again as a CND club our merch sales are higher than most US teams that are in markets 5-10 times our size. Just saying that JH would be worth more as a trade asset to Calgary than an on the ice player in the Pacific - tough and large division!

I think Philly would like the economics of having JH but would need to "camo" the deal with some minors going both ways to appease their base.
