I see we threw realism out the door on this one. How many trades do you think the most a team has made at the draft? Definitely less than whatever this is.

“Missing very little production” being anywhere from 15/20 goals per season is… well… yeah, you get the idea

Sabres would be missing more than just a little production and there's no way that they would be including any first or second round pick, especially 11oa.

Now respond to the physical aspect of his game... Or the fact his defensive game isnt lost in the abyss like Skinner.

"Sabres gain $3.5M in capspace for the next 3 years while missing very little production"

Yes. Very little difference in production.

Skinner last three years: 191 points
Anderson last three years: 84 points

Petry at 2.3M is fine. Playing him in the top 4 is not, that was the only issue with him.

$3.5M has a cost when you are aiming to compete. You have enough youth. Skinner is only gonna get worse at $9M with 3 years left.

According to PuckPedia the 5th and 26th are enough value to move up to the 3rd. Take the 14TH and flip it to WPG for McGroarty.

Is there a reason you stopped at 3 years? (he asks knowingly...)

IF Cerbeek wants to trade down I’m assuming we accept but ask for Kovacevic as well

Why don’t you argue on these points instead of making hyperbolic at best, inaccurate at worst statements?

I’ll take Skinner at 9M + the draft picks all day long and twice on Sundays vs Anderson at 5.5M

Probably because I don't give a **** about what they did 3+ years ago compared to what they've done recently.

Troll your boat back up that stream.

Done.

I think we were overpaying to begin with, but to move up Habs have to be willing to overpay. Adding in Kovacevic doesnt destroy the deal.

Are you serious?

I argued with a couple points, you chose to reply to one, then ignored the rest. And you demand i only argue your points?

How many years do you need to go back? Like should we check their peewee stats? What they’ve done the last 3 years is way more indicative than 4+ years ago. He said, knowingly.

is it because Skinner was hilariously bad? And that he could regress back to that at any time?
