Next year is a problem when Guhle and Slafkovsky need massive raises, which is why it makes no sense to give out multi-year expensive deals to Walker, Carrier and Monahan for $15 million. You've got Mailloux and Reinbacher both being NHL ready, and no room for both of them until at least 2028-29.
