They’re cap strapped with the Holl, Petry, Chiarot contracts. Not much you can do. What don’t you like / isn’t realistic. I feel the trades — for the most part — seem doable. Maybe Fabbri could fetch more - less? Lmk.

I don’t think we need both Duclair and DeBrusk, and Sprong back. Of the three I slightly prefer Duclair personally, but I’d rather take the rest of that money and go after Matt Roy and Dakota Joshua.

Would absolutely love Hague, but this doesn’t make a ton of sense. Edvinsson and AlJo will both 100% be on the roster next season.

Kind of light on kids in general, I could see any number of Ed, AlJo, Kasper, Mazur, Berggren, Danielson, and Buium getting games next season.

Big fan of adding some of the Panthers dirtbag bottom 6 guys though, we need a lot more truculence to make the playoffs.

Ok yeah, definitely makes more sense, I wasn’t sure if you guys were planning on playing some rookies next season. Thanks for the heads up

Some team will give you a pick for Maata but it won't be the Hawks

Once again Hawks wouldn’t take Maata for free let alone pay anything for him. Hawks have more LD’s in the pipeline than they gave spots for& will likely have to move 1. No reason to block any of them with a re-tread.

Cap strapped, a bit.
Holl buyout seems like a reasonable if there isn't a taker for him. Only costs 1.1M.
Sprong is gone. He's bad. Can provide offense but is very lazy on D. He was a healthy scratch down the stretch at the end of the season.
Don't need Debrusk and Duclair. One sure. Berggren should fill the other spot, he's deserving of significant ice time.
No need for Hague. Edvinsson and Johansson will be on the team.
Kasper or Mazur could very well be on the team. Mazur seems the most likely.
Basically with no Hague, Sprong and one of Debrusk or Duclair, can easily afford a top 4 RHD upgrade and have a 23 man roster.
