Now following year when Petry is out you can move Chairot who'd have 1 year left on his contract as well. That's almost 10 mil. Enough money to address either another D-man or an Elite level scorer. Kasper should be centering 2nd line, Mazur and Johannson have a year under their belts plus bring-up Danielson, ASP etc. That SHOULD push the team into a contender category not just making the playoffs.
