Idk if kuntar makes the team yet or if I'd want him on the team yet if he does . He'd be a anchor offensively and I really think we need 4 lines that can produce if you got the jets or sens to retain some salary their would be room to add another bottom 6 winger

Have to pay for retention. Don’t need 4 lines to score just need them to be pest and not get scored on. Kuntar has a good shot out of camp

Like in the 2019 run, you need the 4th line to bring a minimum of offense. I would argue you do need all four lines to score, especially for a team lacking high-end power. Great bottom-6 depth is a must. Beecher already doesn't have much offense and Kuntar has just played one pro season (mostly on the AHL 4th line). You rarely see players who can't be top6 AHLers become useful/consistent NHLers. Give him more time and let's think about the long-term instead of October only.

The OTT deal is all but done if you’ve seen the reports. I also don’t think we can get ehlers. On Kuntar not even being a top6 AHLer I think it was concerted effort to keep him in a grinder role down there as that’s where he will be in NHL. Beecher scored in this playoffs. And you can add at the deadline. I’m not overly worried about it. Day 1 won’t be day 82
