Description
6th Dman battle between Bryson and Gilbert not great but a Cheap option. Hoping that your Top 4 dominate. Domi can still be close to Toronto but gets paid more to be the 3C without the Toronto pressure. Buffalo is not a destination team so you have to pay more for free agents

BUF is still going to be bad for awhile. They would be better off eating 50% on Skinner and trading him. They could get something out of it, and it wont change anything for them.

Jeff has a full no move clause he would have to waive it to trade him. Sounds like he is not willing to do that

If the sabres buy out Skinner, it shows the entire organization does not understand the salary cap.

Thats hard to believe. Considering he could go somewhere that could actually win.

Elliotte Friedman and multiple local reports said they believe he wouldn’t do that because he is at the point of his career where he wants to choice where he goes

I've been preaching this since last offseason.

I would be done with this club until adams is gone I'd they buyout Skinner. To spend more money, more cap, and more term on him, when retention for 3 years makes much more sense. Unbelievable

Teams that could afford him probably aren’t playoff teams

Okay, so a bunch of people who are known to speculate and make things up, especially regarding Friedman. Gotcha.

Wtf? Good teams couldn't afford a 20 to 30 goal scorer for 4.5 million?

Really???? I mean really

Teams that could afford him at full price. At 50% anyone could. Its the teams stubbornness to not eat the cap thats stopping that from going through. Not him.

Maybe I’m wrong but he looked cooked the last couple months of the seasons don’t know if a cap strapped team would want to commit 3 years at 4.5 to a guy that didn’t have a goal in the last 10-12 games

Good thing the season is longer than 10 to 12 games. If you go by the last 14 games, he had 3 goals. 10 to 12 game is arbitrary. The seaosn isn't, and he had 24 goals. Which was tied for 90th last year.

At 4.5 million dollars, he would be tied as the 216th highest cap hit.

Ill restate, if the sabres buyout Skinner, it shows the entire organization does not understand how the NHL salary cap works.

He's ass, can't defend and never reached the playoffs in his 1000+ GP career

No team is touching that unless he's bought out.

Sad part of cheering for an Atlantic team is actually watching Skinner play more often than I should.

Flyers would prefer Ostlund instead of Rosen, there's already plethora of wingers.
