Description

With Kevin Bahl being traded in the Markstrom deal, NJ would like to add a top 6 defenseman. Should they trade for one? Let me know what you guys think of this trade. I made this trade because I think someone is going to overpay Zadorov, so why not trade for a cheaper option.

This is the first team where I have seen Mercer get offered an 8-year deal.

I can't imagine he goes for that. I could see a 5x$5M deal. I could also see a 3x$3.5M deal. I don't know about 8x$5.25M.

Though, if it worked out, it would be arguably one of the best contracts in the NHL.

Right but why would Vegas do this? They have very little and cap and he’s great value/ cheap quality top4 dmen.
