Laine isn’t a dump dump nor is he worth less than Hayes. He will return at least a mid second and a b level prospect. Not to mention Columbus should have 0 interest in moving that pick

If this offer is enough for Laine and the 4, the Habs will offer Dvorak, the 26, Sean Farrell, one of Harris/Barron/Engstrom, and the Pens' 2025 2nd. That's still an insulting offer, but it's better than yours.

Sure, Laine is overpaid. So is Hayes, who's having half retained by Philly and still isn't worth close to what the Blues are paying him. What drugs are you on?
