i do agree but on the other hand his contract isn’t great. could see him being packaged with smith or jarry

Blomqvist is a great goalie and is the future, but Ned is not good enough to be the starter without a 1B behind him. Joel needs some time in the league as a back-up before he is thrown to the wolves as a starter. With this tandem, if Neds goes down, the Pens are in trouble. If Jarry is moved the Pens need a veteran brought in as a 1B/ possible starter.
