this trade is a wash ONLY if Ullmark comes with an extension.....otherwise it's a massive loss for ottawa

they're trading a guy they're about to lose in UFA with a cap dump. their team gets better and their long term situation is unaffected, except it improves their cap slightly. how is that a loss?

ugh....going into the last year of his contract, after which he is a pending UFA. Obviously I'm not talking about UFA rights....otherwise I would have said UFA rights.
