this is so ridiculously stupid. why in god's name would the devils give up the top 10 pick for a couple of super mid players... including one who costs a decent amount. this is HORRIFIC asset management. 1 year of armia and 2 years of matheson.. neither of which are any good. Analytic profile for Matheson is terrible.

And you think Holtz is good....stick to something you know like women's figure skating or knitting because you obviously don't know anything about hockey

Not gonna fly... they get in Hughes what Matheson has to offer

But wtf do I know... NJ acquired a psychologically feeble goaltender to play behind their psychologically feeble team... they could now acquire a bad defenseman to accompany that to make sure Markstrom never sees anything above 900 sv% next year so that the fans can continue to **** about not having league average goaltending

how is matheson 'not any good' ?

hes a defenseman who scored 62 points

you have a lot of 60+ pts defensemen? in your teams HISTORY?

so many i'm sure. and they all had super team friendy cap hits too

10 overall pick for a 60p defensement at 4.5 mil is not delutional and armia is a decent bottom 9 with size wich i think NJ dont have any good bottom 9 is not that bad and i add the 1 late pick from wnp soo i think its fair offer

Holt is a small size project to developp and i think Nj want to take a big step this season so think they willing to trade him

Matheson was a cap dump two years ago...still same guy.
