Thats a little much for Montour. No need to sign Murray and Brossoit. Leafs have young goalies that need playing time already.

How is Skinner a Trev type guy with the leafs already know for their soft play?

Really can't have BOTH Timmins and Rafai on the roster. Montour would be nice, but seven years would be steep. 8m Montour and .775m Rafai could get two competent Dmen for that 8.775m

FA class - especially for RHD - given cap is finally going up (blood in the water with shark agents circling) will be pricey. I like the idea of spreading out talent onto 3 lines; can always put them back together if / when needed.

Leafs were, but no longer are known for their soft play. Fairly heavy team now; problem is producing offense in playoffs. Skinner is ~ same size Domi so no worries on that front

Disagree; limited cap means you have to make choices. Montour & Tanev fit our needs perfectly and you’ll have to pay. The leafs played one year with 10th &11th dmen and still won games. Top 4 will play a lot of minutes. Timmins has potential imo; might have to live through some growing pains in his own end but he can produce from the back end which is needed. Rifai is perfectly fine as 7th (bottom pair) - I like his game; Tre can address at TDL

Marner isn't playing 3rd line minutes
Tanev is way to old and Leafs have no reason to sign him when they can get Zadorov....
And Cowan playing 3rd line and Skinner 1st is completely unrealistc

Montour will get paid imo, no use arguing about it - time will tell.
Murray is 3rd goalie stashed with Marlies (same as Jones this year) ; maybe post surgery he can get back to his old self
I like Rifai’s game, he showed well when he played this season but 7th d - not too worried
You’re prob right but I like spreading the talent out on 3 lines; be interesting to see what Berube does
Tanev just had an excellent year, reg season & playoffs plus he’s a local kid. I don’t rate Zadorov and he’ll be more expensive than Tanev
Skinner can play similar role to Domi; I think AM34 can drive his line. Cowan is getting 9 game tryout - that I am 100% confident in, whether he sticks past that 🤷🏻

Tanev is signing in dallas for more than that....

Why pay murry more than league min?
Rafai over topi ... or webber thats crazy.

Interesting to see what Berube does but I’ve always advocated speaking out talent; they all get paid enough to drive their own lines. With special teams & high leverage situations, ice time can be meted out appropriately
Obviously they don’t fit & will be traded but didn’t want to argue with the nonsense from rival fans; team is top 10 every year, but every leafs player & prospect is garbage
