Canucks are in their contention window for the next 2-3 years. No chance they are removing a 90-100 point center from their lineup for that package which isn't anywhere near enough.

He’s really not. He’s a 90-100+ point, great two way center. He’s also put up those points with his most common linemates in the last 2 years being Mikheyev, Kuzmenko, Beauvillier, and Hoglander. He’d be the best player on Buffalo

The Caps don't need Samuelsson, and definitely don't need to give up their best RHD prospect for a LHD
