The level of disappointment on a Markstrom deal for CGY fans will only be overlooked with the happiness of them drafting Iginla....however if a team like MTL snags Iginla and Markstrom goes for a late first to a team like TOR while still retaining 50%, let's see how that goes.

Flames only have 1 retention slot until July 1st so those trades would need to be made after the draft unless you remove retention.
