Sounds like Buffalo shouldn't trade for him then. Kindly edit your proposal to remove it, so others can instead engage with people who form their opinions entirely from HockeyDB

for the standards of a 3rd overall pick he is struggling .. and because he is struggling that means he has no value.. struggling just means he's under performing not that he is worthless .... what is wrong with your brain do you not realize how bad of an argument that was just make sense all u have to do is make sense its not hard

A homer? Dach’s game has actually taken a step up since he’s gotten to Montreal, his only flaw has been that he’s injured. But since getting to Montreal his game has improved. You clearly don’t watch and just look at stats and yap

a step up going from 20 points to 30 points is not much of a step up for a 22 year old 3rd overall pick .. get over it he is struggling .. he is under preforming compared draft expectations .. if he didnt step up at all that would be pathetic he was 20 when u trade for him he shouldve been developing .. more ... get over it ... he is not living up to his draft position its also fair to assume he takes a step back after missing a whole season he could still become a 2nd line center but he is struggling you are a homer u cant own up to the fact a 3rd overall pick who isnt a impact player at 22 is underpreforming saying i just look at stats .. he isnt no selkle winner his lack of production is not justifed for a 3rd overall pick just because he back checks he isnt some defensive dynamo .... get over it he is a borderline 3rd line caliber player who just missed a whole season ...

Again the 3rd overall pick is irrelevant at this point. We know the potential Dach has and how he’s gonna fit this team. You’re clearly just basing this off of where he was drafted and that just shows that you don’t really know what you’re talking about. So no point in arguing with you 🤣🤣

Also he went up 12 more total points in 12 less games played. So he actually took a very nice step up. And him being a former 3OA pick is totally irrelevant to the Habs at this point.

I'm not making an argument. You don't think he has anywhere close to the value the Habs (or Habs fans do) and the Habs don't want to trade him anyways. There's no argument or debate to be had.

brazeau 26 year old career minor leaguer with one nhl stint of 29 games and 9 points ... he could become a decent 3rd line winger maybe even pot 20 goals but its unlikely hes most likely just a 4th line winger who can get like 20-30 points year ... greenway a established 3rd line winger who is also 6 foot 5 just like brazeau .... i don't see this is off the charts its a 4th round pick and a career minor leaguer who is 26 and might have a little potential and its being traded for a a nhl regular ..... it may be worth it to hold onto brazeau but are pro scous are good if they see a better fit theyll go for it idk if greenway is a good fit

its the money. if they had the same contract, sure. greenway has established himself as a low end third liner on bad teams. brazeau has been a useful player on a good team, and been able to play a whole bunch of different roles. He does that for $775K, not $3M. that's the difference. that's why its off the charts.

maybe i put the price low i kinda hinted at that if u knew how to read you'd see . me saying idk if hes still worth a 1st ... he probably is worth more to the habs than other teams cuz his value is at a low if he just has a decent comeback itll raise .. it makes sense to keep him but it also make sense to dump him maybe not for for 2 2nds but thats not far off in value from a 1st rd pick one of those seconds is like 46th overall 2 of them is not worse than a late first ... which i don't see anybody giving u top 15 pick for him maybe 22nd overall he has had 4 years in the league and he is a borderline 3rd line caliber player who just missed a whole season yes he has top 6 potential but hes a walking red flag with his rate of growth and the big injury ... he has been struggling ... he has lost value since u traded for him u gave up what the 13th overall pick or something i forget ... i think its fair to say he has lost some value

Him being a 3rd overall pick is totally irrelevant to the Habs at this point, And YOU can seem to figure that part out. Sure he's struggling from a 3OA pick standpoint, But that is not the point here at all and your having a hard time figuring that out. When the Habs traded for Dach the whole 3OA thing was irrelevant, He was brought in to bring some Size and Youth to the team, while having the potential of being a top 6 c and the floor of a middle 6 C. And his game has improved in Montreal barring injuries. He went from 9G/17A/26P in 70 games played in his final season in CHI to 14G/24A/38P in 58 games in his first season in MTL. So his game grew 12 points in 12 less games played, So he had some improvement so far in Montreal. Dach was brought into Montreal to be a specific player and play a specific role and he's done his job well, and he has not struggled during his time in Montreal, He's actually improved, The only thing is that he's been injury prone. And if you can't get over the fact that Dach being a 3OA draft pick is irrelevant to the Habs, Then that's on you. The Habs will not be selling low on Dach at this point in time.
