About 1M too much for both Drury and Brown. Columbus trade is bad for Carolina. Teuvo isn’t getting a raise from us

Yeah, and I think the canes would be okay with that. Ive seen a lot of pens fan interested in him.

Brown is a plug and play it can be a different forward on the 4th. Drury had 27 points and should be able to get around 40 if hes playing top 6 so i don't think 3m is a big overpayment to secure a good young player. then with the cap going up to 88 a 300,000 increase is nothing to sweat for teuvo and there aren't much better replacements in FA.

Laine would be an awful fit in Rod's system. You thought Necas' offensive value took a hit in this system? At least he played a little defense.

As a jackets fan I find it hard to believe the canes would be interested in this trade whatsoever
