MTL has plenty of assets to acquire Necas. I think Canes fans need to settle down on who/what Necas is. Does he have talent and a lot of upside for sure but he's also been inconsistent over the years. While you could argue about other factors being in play (such as coach decision, game management, etc.), no way a young "supposed" top 6 winger should be playing on all four lines at some point in a season. He's either a top 6 or he isn't.

But sure I agree, I didn't use MTL's best prospects in my proposal. I suppose Mesar, Beck, Mailloux or Barron could be included instead to form some sort of combination better than what I proposed.

Because $6m in MTL is like minimum wage in here in the US. And if we can back the language off just a bit…he’d get that easily for 1-2 years in ARB, and pretty clearly he’s a hot commodity in the trade market.

Canes fans know what Necas has been. With respect, teams aren’t trading for Necas of the last 5 seasons - they are trading for him for the next 5-10.

Maybe they do, but the canes don’t want them. They’ve reportedly told Montreal they don’t have what they are looking for. I’m not just being a biased fan here, these are literally the team’s views

typical brain damaged mtl fans who starts crying and acting like the player sucks because no one like their garbage offers. bunch of meh prospects (I know you have brain damage so you think they are a+ prospects) and a late 1st isn't getting necas. so many teams will easily beat that offer.
