I just went through most of that guys posts and like 80% of his posts have a Chychrun to LA trade all looking the same (1st+2nd+Spence sometimes Kaliyev) on a new account so if I had to guess he is a closet Sens fan or someone trolling Kings fans. Either way I can confidently tell you that the Kings had interest in Chychrun but that ship has sailed and the only way Kings consider trading for Chychrun is if we can somehow get Gavrikov off the books and even that would have to wait till the goaltending is addressed. So if a goaltender was found AND we were able to get rid of Gavi we certainly wouldn't pay that much for Chychrun unless he came with a super team friendly deal like a 6+ years at around 5m per. So the likelihood of even considering Chychrun is extremely unlikely. Basically what I'm saying is that Cook guy has zero idea what he's talking about so don't adhere to that guy.

Chychrun no longer fits into our cap situation. Moreover, Los Angeles currently has only two NHL-qualified RhDs under contract, plus Brandt Clarke. The Kings won't be trading Jordan Spence unless and until they re-sign Matt Roy (or sign his replacement). Plus, as my esteemed friend @HckeyDude123 so accurately says, there are the prior issues of a #1A goaltender and perhaps moving Gavrikov so that we can sign a couple of forwards to make Pierre-Luc DuBois a productive member of society.

Isles absolutely decline. Branny isn’t useful when we have Mike Reilly almost surely returning. Joseph might be of some interest for the bottom 6 but definitely not retaining half on Pageau

OTT gets hosed so bad in the NYI deal the NHL blocks it, Joseph is younger and far better than Pageau, whalstrom is a bust and has no value
