Perhaps. Returning to his home state is an obvious incentive. From what I have seen this week, interest in Trouba is mixed. I have Trouba with $2M retained for a third rounder as well. I'm interested to hear from Wings fans on this one. The options for the Rangers are,

1- Move him if there is interest at a decent return.

2- Buy him out now, OR

3- Buy him out at the end of the 24-25 campaign,

I’d do that deal for Trouba. I wouldn’t give more tho. Maybe another 5th-7th rounder if it was a necessity.
