i actually really like the monahan move. I would prefer Lindholm, but if there's a bidding war for him and his number creeps into the 8's for 7 years, i would much prefer a one year shot at monahan.

Agreed that is honestly what I am worried about with Stephenson and Lindholm.

Think when Monahan is with talent, he shines. Again if it doesn't work out they have next years free agency class that will be better for centers.

Monahan should be prioritizing term vs dollars.

The player that could take a one year high dollar option could be Stamkos, but I think he resigns in Tampa

Uh yeah that’s not getting Farabee lol. The Bruins don’t have anything worth while to get Farabee tbh. They want to move him in a hockey trade for a top prospect preferably a center. Boston has none of them

That's an intriguing trade for Farabee tbh. If we bank on him getting over that 2nd half slump then some might see it as a lowball.
