Description

I tried to make it somewhat realistic I hope. Marners value is dependent on his willingness to waive his NMC, if it comes with an extension and when it happens so its hard to predict what the trade will be. I gave myself extra cap space in case the contracts might be off dollar wise. As a Marlie season ticket holder I added some guys at the end I want them to sign lol

Bahl fits more of a trieliving type taller rangier style D man. And they get out from the remaining years of kampf.

Sheldon Keefe loves Kampf. Devils has a few bottom 6 c free agents leaving. Bahl also isnt a typical Keefe style D man and was 6th in ice time last season.

Additional Details:

The first is top 10 protected. And if Carolina wins the cup the 2026 2nd becomes a first. Carolina seems open to moving Necas. Although im not sure they are willing to move Morrow due to expiring D deals this year and next. Its more of a filler for type of package the leafs should want back.

Additional Details:

Trade happens July 2nd so leafs pay 7.25 million bonus and Carolina only pays 750k for marner this year. Also comes with an 8 year extension. Tried using the eichel trade as template (Current top 6 player, Top Prospect, first and second round picks). Marner instantely becomes Carolinas best player and more offensive ability.
