    They're not giving you Brazeau for Lindholm's UFA rights. Most you'll get is a 4th round pick.

    I legit have no idea what Boston would value Brazeau at. I'd be willing to add a mid round pick if necessary

    I don't think they'd want to trade him and UFA rights are usually worth a 4th or a 5th round pick.

    I don't think I've ever seen a team get an NHL player in exchange for signing rights.

    That's fair but it's either this or just flipping his rights for like a 4th then calling them up and offering the same 4th for him

    Sure, but most of the time 4th round picks don't even get you a guy like Brazeau, and given the Bruins liked him enough to lock up a spot for him in the playoffs when he came back from his injury, I'm positive the Bruins would rather lose the pick.

    I like big Z but he just isn't worth that much term or money. He's a 4/5 guy and those guys should be getting paid like you have with Soucy and Myers.

    they're not sellers. they identified him as a piece of their club, brought him in, and he's been successful. a mid round pick doesn't buy that
