Guentzel will want term. No way he say yes to anything less then 5yrs and per year you take off 7yrs he probably asks for an extra 500k.

Teams will line up to offer him 9+mill x 7

Agreed, but that should be a hard pass for Van. Pretty good roster but missing RD depth. Tanev will get hurt and then it all unravels.

I think Guentzel’s new contract should be $9M x 6 years or $9.5M x 6 years.
$9M x 3 years is ridiculous.

CHI accepts. These sort of additions could make a lot of sense for VAN, even if some of the numbers are off. I love the Blueger contract taking VAN right up against the salary cap. haha

Yeah that was my mistake it was meant to be 6 years. Fixed now
