Description
I'm not sure how minnie solves the cap problem. Granlund will probably ask for more, but I gave him 8 years instead.

I also personally don't believe Foligno is anything exciting to keep, but someone gave me crap for not having him on the team as he was "the main reason for the Scandella-Pominville-trade", although of course it was totally cap-related.

The trade was cap related as he is the best player the wild got from the deal unless Ennis turns it around... The Wild have to sign him because they spent Scandella to get him. Just doesn't make sense to not sign him.

Foligno is a versatile player believe it or not. He can play on almost any line that is of need. He's also young and a big body presence so I wouldn't count him out just yet. I'm not denying the fact that it was a cap dump to get rid of Pommers, but the return wasn't useless. Ennis still has skill left to offer even with being concussion prone.

as a sabres fan I will say foligno is a very sold bottom 6 forward that wont cost much and wont look out of place playing up in the top 6 due to injury, it wont take you long to change your mind once you actually see him play, he isn't a bum he has skill I think with your team he gets you 15-18 goals and he hits everything that moves which is a plus out west

I probably put it a bit over the top, as I still think you can have a good NHL team with Foligno on your roster. But if he starts asking for north of 2m, or if you can't flip any other forward for a decent price, then I'd rather sign a UFA body for 800k, than spending as stated a bit more than 2m
