Ullmark is not going to Ottawa. NTC. He would have been there last offseason if he was willing.

Curious to see if a long extension with NMC provisions would make him reconsider. NJ and Ottawa are both young, talented teams arguably,

I don’t believe it is likely, but an extension that parlays his current value into a long term home might be just as appealing as another east coast outlet without an extension.

not that I'm convinced that Ullmark would waive for Ottawa or anything, but is there any actual knowledge that he's demonstrated any unwillingness? the rumoured vetoed trade deadline deal was to LA for "geographical reasons", was it not?

My assumption is atleast a couple of those Ottawa fourth round picks would be coming to Boston. If they were willing to fully retain on Forsberg, I could see him going to Boston as well

we got two big problems here:
1. of course ullmark isn't waiving for ottawa
2. This wouldn't have been an issue a couple months ago, but now I'm not so sure that Chychrun is better than Lohrei. I don't think Chychrun to boston makes any sense anymore.

That was at the deadline. Last offseason there was mutual interest, Sens had plenty of pieces that could facilitate the trade, desperately needed a goalie, B’s wanted that cap space. Take 3 guesses why it did not happen. Sens had to settle for free agency and made a bad choice there. Unfortunate for both teams.

so they we have to establish which teams out west he'd agree to. if he's got a 15 team no trade list and Canadian teams are on it that means 3 from the Atlantic are a NO which means there's midwest-west teams he'd say yes to or hasn't blocked.

The overall consensus is his current 16 team list which is in affect until July 1st is - the entire Pacific Division, rest of Canada, Zona/Utah, Colorado, Columbus, random 16th nobody agrees on.

On July 1st with one year remaining under contract if he wants as much control as possible, he takes teams like Vegas, Winnipeg, Seattle off his list and adds teams like NJ, Detroit, Chicago? Which leaves almost everyone on his available list, not in need or not in position to. In essence he’d almost be in complete control…if he wants 🤷🏻‍♂️
