He said he wants to stay, Bednar said he wants to keep him, he was an awesome style fit and really resurrected his career. He won’t be league-minimum cheap, but you can probably extend him for a bit less than a 60-point UFA would usually cost on the open market. Rough guess would be the $5M-ish range, maybe similar to Lehkonen’s contract.

It’s not going to be a goalie. Georgiev outside of game 1 WPG was good and really good in a number of games, Annunen proved he is ready, and only having $4.5M tied up in goalies really helps.
