Same trade sent a few times last night

Still hasn't changed. We don't want Marner

I think that’s the problem. You have two productive players, but Marner is a lot more expensive. They aren’t giving up Parayko on top of Buch.

Parayko is the number 1 minute eating dman in STL, we have no one else anywhere near ready to play that much. Buch is a feisty PPG player, Marner is too expensive and isn’t built for the playoffs. Robert Thomas makes 8.1 mil a year, STL isn’t paying anyone else more than that.

Parayko is for sure a stud, which is why the Leafs would be willing to give up a 90+ point winger who plays in all situations.

2/7 ppg seasons for Buch makes him a feisty ppg player? Not to mention he's 1 year away from UFA, I don't think it's a stretch to say he isn't a lock to sign and if they don't extend him this summer, why not move him?

I can understand the reluctance to spend that much money on a single player but he'd instantly be the best player on the team no questions asked

Imo Marner has more value (with an extension) than Parayko, don't think that's an unfair or biased assessment at all.

If Buch isn't signing an extension this offseason and the Blues would like to move him for assets, he's probably returning something similar to the Debrincat trade last summer?
I think Liljegren + the difference between Marner and Parayko more than makes up the package that the Red Wings paid to Ottawa

Meant to say Buch turned into a point per game player with STL and he has a feisty edge to his game once in a while, Marner is soft as puppy poo. Blues don’t need a coward who doesn’t like getting hit in the playoffs and crumbles under pressure.
