That second line would be incredibly slow

I know it hasn't even been two weeks yet, but I want the Jets to hire a coach already. grin

That entire forward group would be slow, Connor is the only one thats fast.

Edit: That's a slow defense too.

Want to make a friendly bet that they'll just promote Arniel?

I just can't see the Jets trading that Habs pick unless it's to move up in the draft, they're going to want an earlier pick in this draft then the 3rd round.

I think they are going to do that too. I believe they are using this vacancy as an opportunity to get candid assessments of the team.

I heard when they interviewed Torts for the job they eventually gave to Bowness he ripped into them about their ****ty room culture.. lol 😆

Its funny but I think Chipman and Chevy need a coach that's gonna push back against them and tell them what it's gonna take and how it really is.

Would REALLY PREFER a coach that wants to play a style built around puck possession, speed and offense. Whatever Bones hockey is isn't gonna produce a winner imo, I like Bowness but didn't think his style of game was gonna work.

Ultimately I just don't think this group is good enough no matter who's coaching it, will take much more then just trading Ehlers for a top 4 dman to fix this lineup and Ehlers loss would likely be more damaging than anything.

I think the only coach out there that might push back would be Quenneville but he is still on the NHL banned list (for lack of a better term) and given the Chicago link with Chevy it will never happen. Boudreau and Gallant might, but they haven't won anything more than Bowness.

I think it should either be Evanson or Gallant, Arniel shouldn’t be promoted and and either of them should be allowed to make there own coaching staff.

I like Boudreau and Gallant, Boudreau got quite a bit out of that Wild team when it was past its prime.

Same with Evason, it was impressive what he was getting from that Wild team which honestly wasn't all that great aside from a few players, was insanity that they fired him. It was as dumb as Quinn's firing in San Jose, like what are these GMs or owners expecting sometimes 🤔.. lol 😆

Thing with Evason and the Jets is he doesn't look like a guy who's gonna put up with any bull****, pull on the rope or sit your ass on the bench, not sure this is a group that can handle a coach like that, could make for some interesting drama and narratives anyway.. 🤣
