Why would the Kings trade their leading scorer over the past two seasons for that pile of meh?

Didn't realize Binner was meh now

Kings need goaltending and this does exactly that

Yes, he's pretty meh. As evidenced by being outperformed by his ELC replacement that you're replacing him with here.

At a cap hit of $4.5M, I'd consider not making St. Louis provide compensation for taking his contract.

A below top 12 goalie is not worth a team’s best player under no circumstance

Clearly you don't watch the Blues lmao. But no point in arguing with someone that clearly doesn't understand

Binner would be a good fit in LA. Would be curious to hear what an offer could be because it sounds like the overall consensus by those that don't actually watch the Blues is that he is terrible because he was bad one season, but then this year was great and had some saying he was potentially close or even snubbed of being a Vezina finalist, and probably would've been if the Blues made the postseason

Both Kings goaltenders outperformed Binnington this season. Combined, their cap his was 1/3 of what Binnington's is.

The kings also have defenseman. Not to mention your goalies suck every time the playoffs come around.

The goalies don't suck. Their PK just gets dismantled by the Oilers' NHL-history best power play every year. Binnington would not have fared better.

I’d say it’s more special teams needs worked on. Not necessarily the goalie.

Kings have Portillo knocking on NHLs doors who is doing awesome in the AHL. Binnington blocks him

Can't imagine how infuriating it would be watching Kyrou and Fiala together for most Blues fans.

Binnington is not worth his contract and the Kings wouldn't trade their highest scoring player over the last two seasons for him, even with retention.

That pretty much sums it up.

I didn't say anything about the trade. I'm talking about all your Binnington analysis. It's miles off, bud.
