Good deal for both teams but man I'd hate to give that Devils team Ullmark. They could be scary good with that level of quality goal tending.

Not sure if the Devils need to give up a third when you are getting essentially 2 firsts in that deal already.

I'm not a huge Wennberg guy so I'd be reluctant to give him that kind of money.

I feel like the Bruins could spend 4.25M better than using it to push Poitras out for Wennberg, a distinctly okay 3C. Talbot and Lindhom both get more than this, I imagine. I like the idea of Dillon, though

Poitras slots in at 3C in every possibly offseason scenario, there's no point in adding any bottom 6 forwards to this mix where Poitras, Geekie, Frederic, Brazeau, Beecher, and Boqvist are all locks. One or two of those guys may move into the top 6, but regardless, no need to add anything but veteran depth as 13th F.
That's as acceptable a package for Ullmark as we're likely to get.
Dillon could play well with any of our RD but if we're signing him to exclusively play with Peeke, that seems like an overpay when Wotherspoon has proved his worth as a player and a locker room presence. Lohrei has forced the Bs into a corner by effectively replicating the success of McAvoy in his first playoff run in that they have to play him as a regular next season, and brining in an established guy may stunt his growth. I think they go for a veteran depth guy over a guy like Dillon who can be a top 4 guy still.
