If that's what it takes to get Duchene then no thanks!

Ya, no. I wouldn't do Carlo for Duchene straight up. Guy is soft and if his feelings got hurt because of trade rumors (and his performance tanked), I can only imagine what the BOS media and fan base would do to him. Then on top of that you want Bjork who was one of the best players in college hockey last year? GTFO out of here with that crazy offer. Are you Sakic? I ask because this sounds about what his insane asking price is for his overrated players.

Seems like a fair price for Duchene to an outsider, 1st + prospect + roster player

Problem is so many trades have been offered for Duchene and Colorado's indecisiveness has only made them more desperate in front of the whole league. The Avalanche will need a heck of a start to showcase Duchene so Sakic can get a trade that was first offered long ago, otherwise Sakic is fired and Duchene is traded by the new GM late in the season just to get something for the future

I think Sakic is going to have to suck it up and lower his price - I would use the Taylor Hall trade as a comparable (straight up for Larsson)
Sakic should have taken that offer from the Isle's for Hamonic, a 1st and prospect.
Actually the Av's should just move Sakic
(and fear not Bruin fans, Boston has stated Carlo is untouchable - though if the price is right...)
