In 102 games in the A oskar has 40 points
Harris is a solidified bottom 6 dmen with 131 games under his belt 32 points and -5 on a bottom 5 team last 3 years.
For wpg they get matheson a 60 pt dmen on a bottom 5 team which is pretty good. And they deal pionk who has done nothing for winnepeg a future top 9 prospect and 2 mid 2nds is bad for rutger

You speak as if I'm not familiar with these players.

As a 21-yr old, Olausson matched his production from his 20-yr old season in 24 fewer games. If he makes anything close to that progress next year, he's near PPG and tracks nicely to fill a hole on COL's roster for cheap. Sure, they could trade him but I imagine they'd be looking to make a package for a more substantial player than Harris.

As for the WPG trade, you fail to account for 2 things: 1.) Matheson is a LD, of which WPG has more than enough and 2.) Matheson wouldn't be likely to get time on the 1st PP unit in WPG due to Morrissey's established role there. Swapping Pionk for Matheson is certainly an upgrade, but not the kind they'd likely be looking for (a stylistic change) and not at the cost of their top prospect. If they're moving him, I imagine they're gonna need a quality, young(er) RD coming back.

Don't disagree with your points really and the Jets wouldn't trade Rutger for this but Morrissey kinda sucks on the PP, it's a big reason why it struggles, he's really not very good at QBing a powerplay.

You forgot to add Briere getting fired after that. This is so bad for Flyers.

Flyers are not trading any of their first round picks in the next two years unless they are moving up in this draft or getting a stud center prospect in return.

Interesting. I'm willing to concede that I haven't watched much of him but his numbers don't jump out to me as "he's clearly no sufficient as a PPQB". What stands out as the flaws in his QBing? Was it different last year when he had 28 PP points?

Whoops! I thought it was next years pick. Still a no. He might be worth the other 1st the Flyers have but I don’t see him being a good fit with what the flyers have and need

He's a bit slow in his puck movement, bobbles the puck at the blueline a fair bit.

Just my opinion but it just doesn't look like a strong point of his game.

For smo who plays college hockey and then some one who played in the A and NL is far better then the college player. You forget rienbacher went 5th not 12th
Rutger and david has 2 different profiles and RHD are more valuable then Lhw

Congrats on your analysis. The price is still the same. And again, even then the jets decline.
